How we check job postings
Only the editorial team assigns a verification status. It cannot be bought: paying for promotion changes a job's reach, not its badge.
Four levels of verification
The badge on a card answers one question: how far we have got in checking that particular job.
Someone from the Baltics actually worked at this site and confirmed the terms
What we checked: A verified worker review exists
Employer found in the register, rate and terms cross-checked
What we checked: Company register + collective agreement + housing/travel not hidden
The job exists in an official source, but the terms have not been checked
What we checked: Only presence in JobTech/NAV
The employer has not been identified
What we checked: Nothing so far — we say so honestly
What we do, step by step
We find the job in an official source
Sweden — Platsbanken/JobTech Arbetsförmedlingen, Norway — NAV. We show the link to the original on the card, and applications go there too.
Norwegian vacancies come from NAV's official database — arbeidsplassen.nav.no. A one-off measurement of our target segment on 24 August 2026 found that 33.4% of listings were unavailable through the feed because they were posted only on Finn.no. With a 60-day import window, we cover 54.4% of the total target segment. When looking for work in Norway, check Finn.no separately.
We identify the employer
We cross-check the name against the company register (Bolagsverket, Brønnøysund). If an intermediary rather than the employer is behind the posting, we say so.
We break the terms down one by one
Pay (net or gross), housing, travel, hours, collective agreement. Every field separately; we mark the unknown as unknown, not as «by agreement».
We collect worker feedback
If someone from the Baltics actually worked at the site and confirmed the terms, the job gets the top status. The editorial team verifies the review.
What we do not do and do not promise
- We take no payment from workers — not for access, not for applying, not for «priority».
- We do not accept candidates' documents: applications go directly to the official source.
- We do not raise verification status for money — that path does not exist even in the database structure.
- We do not guarantee employment, a visa, a tax outcome or a level of income. We explain the published terms and point you to the original source.
Have you worked in Sweden or Norway and want to confirm the terms? Write to us — that is how the «Confirmed by a worker» status appears.
